            1. Exactly! At some point the other day, I heard a Thamnomanes antshrike, got a brief glimpse of a male, and put it down as Cinereous. But then a couple minutes later, the female popped up in front me, with that great blue and rufous combo, and I went: "oh wait that's right, I was seeing Cinereous yesterday on the north bank, but this is the south bank, ergo Bluish-slate!" The ash-breasted antbird is an insectivorous bird in the antbird family, Thamnophilidae. It is found in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
