
The bronzy jacamar is a species of bird in the family Galbulidae. It is found in north-central South America in the Amazon Basin and the Guianas. It occurs in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical and tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical and tropical dry shrubland.
