    What I mean, did you ask an expert, or go via inaturalist, or prowl some amblypygid database? I have several photos of those guys, but I never thought they could be IDed Posted 2 years ago

      I mostly did iNat visual and distribution testing. It seems 80% of observations in Colombia concern this particular species. Strong matching example with several people agreeing:

      Still hard to assess accuracy though, point taken.

        Oh no I certainly wasn't questioning the ID! I know nothing about arachnids, I was just curious, and excited about the possibility of getting mine IDed!
        As for noID photos, if I posted those as well, my work load would triple haha Posted 2 years ago

        There's nothing wrong with questioning an ID, it's only healthy. I would be the first to admit that this one is in the likely/tentative category rather than an unquestionable match.
