  1. Hmmm. That's definitely not a Blyth's. It's a Muscicapid of some sort, very likely a flycatcher, but which of the two dozen species that occur in India, I'm afraid I could not say. Posted 9 years ago, modified 9 years ago

The Asian Brown Flycatcher is a small passerine bird in the flycatcher family Muscicapidae. This is an insectivorous species which breeds in Japan, eastern Siberia and the Himalayas. It is migratory and winters in tropical southern Asia from southern India and Sri Lanka east to Indonesia.
