„Salvia elegans“ Pineapple Sage „Bought a small organic seedling of pineapple sage in spring. It grew well and provided us with it’s leaves all year round. We used it on our fruit salads and for infused water. It really has that pineapple taste. Now it starts to flower and it‘s red blossoms look nice and are edible as well.“ Text and picture from me in November 2019 FB Geotagged,Germany,Pineapple Sage,Salvia elegans Click/tap to enlarge Country intro

  1. I love sage, but have not tried pineapple sage! Sounds good! Posted 2 years ago
  2. Welcome to the club Christine! I haven’t heard of it before I bought it three years ago. I would go for another round if I see it again because the taste was very convenient, mild, refreshing and fruity. Posted 2 years ago
    1. Nice! I love to cook sage with squash. I'm not sure the pineapple sage would be good this way, though. Posted 2 years ago
