Mandevilla (Syn.: Dipladenia A.DC.)
I like the dipladenia because they have southern flair! I had them in white and red. It is in full bloom as early as May and will continue to bloom until the first frost. The leaves are glossy and evergreen. They will take full sunshine and heat, but get along with mixed conditions. Dipladenia (Mandevilla) is poisonous as it is a species of the dogbane plant family (Apocynaceae).

"Mandevilla sanderi", also called "Dipladenia sanderi" and Brazilian jasmine, is a vine belonging to the "Mandevilla" genus. The species is endemic to the State of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil
