  1. Very sharp and beautiful centre of image, telling a warm and delicate story. I do wonder why you did not choose to crop the frame a bit, so that only mother and child are visible.

  2. Crop a photo? Heathen!
    No, I never crop photos. I feel that it detracts from what the image represents. If it was going to be used for a purpose then probably it should be cropped, but here we should see the full image as it tells us extra.
    Here it tells us that the pair are part of a larger herd.
    And yes, I use an Ixus. Which is possibly the reason I don't actually upload many photos. Because I just can't compete with real photographers with professional equipment and lenses.

The Fallow Deer is a ruminant mammal belonging to the family Cervidae. This common species is native to western Eurasia, but has been introduced widely elsewhere. It often includes the rarer Persian Fallow Deer as a subspecies, while others treat it as an entirely different species.
