  1. E. fantissima maybe? Posted 3 years ago
    1. Could be! Of the Eulepidotis sp. listed as being found in Colombia, fantissima looks very close. Eulepidotis dominicata and Eulepidotis argyritis are also very similar. I wonder how they are distinguished?

      2. Leps confirms E. fantissima Posted 3 years ago
        1. Great! I'm having trouble adding the ID. It keeps auto-switching to "Eulepidotis fortissima". I'll try to add it manually... Posted 3 years ago, modified 3 years ago
          1. I tried a manual ID, but it wouldn't accept the name. Apparently, Eulepidotis fortissima is a synonym of Eulepidotis fantissima. I'll ask Ferdy if he can correct it, if possible, when he returns.

            1. Great thank you. Posted 3 years ago
            2. Fixed now. It looks like Wikipedia sees the two species names as synonyms, possibly incorrectly, as other sources see them as separate species. I've decoupled the synonyms now inside JD. Posted 3 years ago
              1. Oh, makes sense. Thanks for the fix! Posted 3 years ago
