Cheetahs in the Serengeti Our first cheetah spotting in the Serengeti. They were quite far away, thus the photo is not great. I'm not sure about the family relation between these two, whether they are a couple or siblings. I can tell though that they were acting playfully. Our first cheetah spotting in the Serengeti. They were quite far away, thus the photo is not great. I'm not sure about the family relation between these two, whether they are a couple or siblings. I can tell though that they were acting playfully.

The cheetah is a large-sized feline inhabiting most of Africa and parts of the Middle East.The cheetah achieves by far the fastest land speed of any living animal—between 112 and 120 km/h in short bursts covering distances up to 500 m, and has the ability to accelerate from 0 to over 100 km/h in three seconds.
