  1. Again I enjoyed watching the Butterflies and Bees! September 2021

    Hedera helix, the common ivy is blooming now and attractive for Butterflies and Bees because in September and October nutrition for these insects is limited. Ivy shows it’s blossoms when most of the other ones are long gone.

Hedera helix is a species of flowering plant in the family Araliaceae, native to most of Europe and western Asia. A rampant, clinging evergreen vine, it is a familiar sight in gardens, waste spaces, on walls, tree trunks and in wild areas across its native habitat.
