    2. Hi Marta,
Christine informed me that you have a suggestion to solve the problem with the flipped images.
You mention to chop it some how. I use various software to work with pictures.
Could you explain your technique to avoid the upside down effect?
      Thank you so much

  2. Welcome to JungleDragon and thanks for sharing this photo!

Note that in JungleDragon, members are asked to include basic details as part of the photo, therefore please consider the following tip(s):

    - You did not share any location info. You are asked to at least share the country in which the photo was taken. You can set the country using the "Set country" button. Even better is to geotag the photo, which you can do using the "Geotag this photo" button.

By sharing your photo with more complete details, it will show up in the species browser, the global wildlife map and in search. It helps people find your photo much better, plus it delivers a far more educational photo. Check out our photo sharing tutorial for more information:

    2. Hi Christine,
If I disable the notifications because I don‘t want so many emails can I still get access to informations on what happened?
      Thanks for your help!

      1. If you disable notifications, you can still see who has liked/favorited/commented on your photos by going to each of your photos. This, of course, is quite tedious and can cause you to miss some comments (especially those in response to comments you make on other's photos). I would recommend disabling notifications for some features, but keeping notifications for whatever is most important to you. Hope this helps. :) Posted 2 years ago

    3. Hi Christine,
I recognized that some of the pictures I uploaded are standing on the head, so 180 degrees turned, in the Summary.
Do you happen to know why?
      Thanks

      1. Some other people have had this issue as well. I think it has to do with the orientation of the photo when you upload it without editing it first? Sometimes re-uploading the photo solves the problem. But, I'm not sure exactly and Ferdy (JungleDragon's founder) would know better, but he is away for the next few days. I'll post this in the forum and see if anyone else has a solution. Posted 2 years ago
        1. I just remembered that Ferdy made a forum post about this issue:
          https://www.jungledragon.com/forum/2/campfire/916/instructions_regarding_image_rotation_issues.html

          His solution summary is this:
The issue only occurs for people who share straight out of camera for photos taken in a non-default orientation. Meaning, you capture a JPEG, do not touch any photo editor, and directly upload the JPEG to JungleDragon. This workflow is typical for smartphone photography but some users of traditional cameras may also follow this workflow. The workaround is slightly annoying but simple: open your photo in a photo editor and export it, then upload. You don't even have to make any edits. This fixes it. I cannot fix rotation on JungleDragon's end so in case of a fresh upload, I recommend to delete your photo, fix the issue, and re-upload.

            1. No problem! Marta (Patomarazul) also has a suggestion at the bottom of this forum post in case Ferdy's solution doesn't work for you:

              1. Hi Christine
I wrote directly to Marta to get some more details.

    4. Hi Christine,
I‘m curious to know how to get several pictures in the description.
      Thanks in advance!
      Alexander

      1. To insert photos, copy the link from the other photo(s) and then click 'edit details' under the photo where you want to paste them. Then, just paste them into the details and the photos will appear once you click 'save details'. Does that make sense? Lots of people ask this question and I'm never quite sure how to describe the process. Posted 2 years ago
        1. Thank you Christine, unfortunately I did not manage with copy and paste.
If I do it over Icloud it leads to the picture but that‘s not what I‘m looking for. I just want to put additional pictures to the description as seen in your posts.

          1. Okay, I know I explained it poorly, lol. I've asked Ferdy to comment. :) Posted 2 years ago
            1. Good Morning Christine,
thank you for your ongoing support!

              1. hi Alexander,

First, I would suggest that if you have questions about the working of JungleDragon, it's best to post them in this forum:

                https://www.jungledragon.com/forum/2/campfire.html

A picture post is not really the place to do this, as your question can easily be missed and these conversations are unrelated to the photo.

That said, Christine's explanation is spot-on. To insert a thumbnail of another photo into a description or comment field, you go to the photo you want to include, and copy its full address (URL) from the address bar of your browser. Next, you paste this into the description field or comment and save it.

I'm not sure which part you're struggling with, can you elaborate or show the post where you tried this?

                1. Hi Ferdy,
thank you so much for your advise!
I‘ll use the forum to ask.
