Leopard couple in the Serengeti, Tanzania 3 of 3
Each year we print poster-size photos, 3 of them, for last year's trip. One of them takes the center place, and appears to everyone entering our house. This is the one for our trip to Tanzania. We are simply fascinated by Leopards, and loved the light in this one, but also the soft side of the one cat turning to the other.

The leopard is one of the five "big cats" in the genus "Panthera". It is a member of the Felidae family with a wide range in regions of sub-Saharan Africa, West Asia, the Middle East, South and Southeast Asia to Siberia. Fossil records found in Italy suggest that in the Pleistocene it ranged as far as Europe.
