  1. GORGEOUS dragonfly! The slaty skimmer (Libellula incesta) is an eastern US species, though. I'm unsure of the correct ID, but suspect it might be Indothemis sp. Posted 3 years ago
    1. That genus looks great, have tentatively identified as "Indothemis carnatica", looks like the main candidate.

      @Suresh: please also update your description, "found in by".....???

The black marsh skimmer, or light-tipped demon, is a species of dragonfly in the family Libellulidae. It is found in India, Sri Lanka and Thailand.
