
Megastigmus rosae - Male (darker)
Had another chance to shoot a male of this species today. This time with wings that came out right, but also a good deal darker than yesterday's specimen. So decided to upload it for reference.

Megastigmus rosae is a Chalcid wasp (Chalcidoidea) of the family Torymidae. The female deposits her eggs in Rose hips and the larvae feed on the seeds inside.
