  2. There are only a few companies doing guided birding excursions to Angola. Travelling, road conditions, lodges, food were surprisingly good, the climate without problems. Birding was mostly easy, the people friendly. Sadly, habitat-loss is ongoing. You need a local guide, mostly for the language as there is no much english spoken even at the lodges. Portuguese would be fine ;) I'll have my tripreport on www.cloudbirders.com one day ... Posted 3 years ago

Bocage's sunbird is a species of bird in the family Nectariniidae. It is found in Angola and the DRC. The common name and Latin binomial commemorate the Portuguese naturalist José Vicente Barbosa du Bocage.
