  1. Check out this absolute cutie!
    For some reason, this antwren had always stood out to me in the guidebook, and I finally ran into a very friendly pair in some nice forest with open understorey, a photographer's dream!

The plain-throated antwren is a species of bird in the family Thamnophilidae. It is found in all the countries of the Amazon Basin. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. Unlike other small antwrens, it stays near ground level often clinging sideways to saplings.
