  1. Beautiful beetle!

    I think this is Aspidimorpha furcata, which is commonly reported from India and looks like your photo. Charidotella sexpunctata is not very likely, it occurs predominantly in the Americas.

    By the way, I think you mean 2 x magnification, not 20x? 20x magnification is microscopic magnification and would give a total frame of less than a mm wide.
