  1. Depending on the light direction the color of the trim around the beetle changes from green to gold. Subtle but unique and beautiful. Posted 3 years ago
    1. That's a very cool effect, William, highly creative!

The Laowa, is that the lens we discussed earlier.

      1. Just like my profile says, I like bright colors. Thanks.
I have two Laowa lenses. The Laowa 100mm F2.8 1-2X CA-Dreamer macro lens (auto aperture) I use for subjects over 5mm and the Laowa F2.8, 2.5X-5X (all manual) for subjects under 5mm.

        1. The 100mm is new, right? Like it? Posted 3 years ago
          1. Yes it is newer than the 24mm 2x-5x. The cost to benefit ratio was high as the lens covers 1:1 as well as 2:1 X and the light gathering ability of the 100mm is great and the cost is more that half the price of a canon lens. It’s very flexible and can even be used as a portrait lens. I’ve stopped using my canon 24-105 mm lens. Posted 3 years ago, modified 3 years ago
