The aplomado falcon is a medium-sized falcon of the Americas. The species' largest contiguous range is in South America, but not in the deep interior Amazon Basin. It was long known as "Falco fusco-coerulescens" or "Falco fuscocaerulescens", but these names are now believed to refer to the bat falco.

Long time no see, hope all is well with you :) Posted 3 years ago
I know, I didn't mean to, but I had no more time to sort through my photos anymore... I stopped posting them on facebook and even abandoned my blog... but then I figured "hey, I can just post the ones I'm already posting on instagram anyways, instead of going through all my photos, trying to post every single species I see", so I'm gonna try and post 5 a day, to make up for my absence!
