    1. Thanks! In fact, Elaenias are some of my least favorite (let's be frank: most hated) flycatchers.
      But this one has a characteristic faint third wingbar, which makes ID quite a bit easier!

The small-billed elaenia is a species of bird in the family Tyrannidae. It is found in Argentina, Aruba, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Netherlands Antilles, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
