A Pacific Forktail Damselfly. It is resting on the blossom of the Watershield (Brasenia schreberi). To correct the description of the range of this damselfly, it is also found in the west coast of Canada as well! iNaturalist has many recorded sightings in southwestern BC as well as the northwestern US.
