
Satin Bowerbird
A medium to small bird with a short dark bill and blue-black eyes. A smooth head and back were an even bluey-green. Throat was a pale brown and wings a dark olive green with a single thin pale bar.
The belly could be described as pale covered with tiny olive green crescent-shaped flecks. Feet were pale. Tail was short relative to body length.

The Satin Bowerbird is a bowerbird endemic to eastern Australia. A rare natural intergeneric hybrid between the Satin Bowerbird and the Regent Bowerbird is known as Rawnsley's Bowerbird.
