The grey elaenia is a species of bird in the family Tyrannidae. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, and Venezuela. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest.
