      1. Myrmelastes antbirds aren't that shy, and very vocal. I think I spent maybe an hour following that pair around the edge of the lodge's gardens and they never moved more than 50 meters. A bit of patience, a bit of luck, and a bit of playback, and voila!

The plumbeous antbird is a species of bird in the family Thamnophilidae. It is found in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical swamps.
