  1. Some confusion with names.I entered Chlorophyllum brunneum which according to INaturalist occures in Australia. Posted 3 years ago
    1. It looks like Wikepedia (which is used to create the species record) considers both names to be synonyms. This is why when you type name A, you get redirected to name B.

      Other sources do seem to see both names as separate species, but after checking it looks like both separate species occur in Australia.

      So, not sure what to do now :)

The Shaggy parasol is the common name for three closely related species of mushroom, ''Chlorophyllum rhacodes'', ''C. olivieri'' and ''C. brunneum'', found in North America, Europe and Southern Africa .
