A foggy Mattiastrum lithospermifolium we drove especially to visit the upper parts of Mount Hermon in Israel (elev. 2200m) - we managed to be there about 15 minutes before we were forced to get to the lower parts, due to the heavy heavy fog that surrounded the mountain all day. A mountainous perennial. Flowers small deep purple. Fruit with four cup like mericarps.
