Common Dogwood-grass Aphid, Heesch, Netherlands
Winged form. A deep crop, they are 1.9-3mm in size.
For such a tiny creature, they seem to have a wildly complex life cycle. For most of the year, the population consist of females only, whom reproduce asexually. Yet in the fall (autumn) males emerge that do reproduce sexually, producing females that (again) can reproduce asexually.
They also migrate between host plants and there's multiple forms. An adult may or may not have wings.

"Anoecia corni", the dogwood aphid, is a species of aphid in the subfamily Anoeciinae. The species has been recorded as a pest of millets. It is native to Europe but has been introduced to North America.
