  I can imagine! here they also place plastic barriers next to the roads to prevent the frogs and toads from crossing the roads to go to the nearbu lakes. Some volunteers pick them up from these barriers and safely release them into their destination :-) Posted 3 years ago

    That's good! My son squashed one last summer when we were out walking at night. It was traumatizing and gross. Posted 3 years ago

The European Toad

The European toad is an amphibian widespread throughout Europe, with the exception of Iceland, Ireland and some Mediterranean islands. Its easterly range extends to Irkutsk in Siberia and its southerly range includes parts of northwestern Africa in the northern mountains of Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia.
