  1. Pretty! Compare to Harmostes reflexulus. Posted 3 years ago
    1. I must have forgotten to edit this one.. BugGuide has gotten me as far as Harmostes. I thought it might be one I can figure, as there's only 6-7 species to pick from, but I'm still a bit stymied.. there's a few that don't seem much different to me.. I've been starting at H. reflexulus vs H. angustatus. The others seem differently colored. Posted 3 years ago
      1. I hadn't considered H. angustatus because of the range. But, it's possible. And, after looking at the photos of H. angustatus on BG, I can understand the confusion! There are some that look very similar to H. reflexulus. The patterns and coloration for both seem variable. I can't find info about how, exactly, they can be distinguished from each other. Perhaps someone on BG will take your ID to species. Posted 3 years ago
        1. I did find one thing about size: Harmostes reflexulus is ~9-10 mm long, while angustatus is 7-8 mm. Lol, that might not be too helpful, though. ;P Posted 3 years ago
          1. Looks like we indeed don't have H. angustatus here, looks like Harmostes reflexulus it is :) Posted 3 years ago
            1. Sounds good. Posted 3 years ago
