A Hungry Pine Siskin. There have been many of these birds at our suet feeder of late. Unfortunately we have been asked to quit feeding the birds and having bird baths due to the outbreak of avian flu. The pine siskin is a North American bird in the finch family. It is a migratory bird with an extremely sporadic winter range.
