      1. It's the northenmost member of the genus. There is another in southern Peru, but the 6 others ares found between Bolivia, Argentina, and Brazil. Posted 3 years ago

The plain-tailed warbling finch is a species of bird in the family Thraupidae. It is endemic to Peru. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.
