    Seriously though, cool find. It seems to have a fairly small distribution.

    1. Yes, it's one of the so-callled Tumbesian endemics, only found in the dry forests of NW Peru and SW Ecuador. Next time I'm up there, I'll try to get a shot that better shows the white edge (which can actually be quite conspicuous)! Posted 3 years ago

The white-edged oriole is a species of bird in the family Icteridae. It is found in Ecuador and Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests and subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. It is primarily a canopy dweller.
