    I think this is a Helophilus trivittatus, although other Helophilus species are similar. It's not a Marmalade hoverfly anyway.

      You are completely right, it is not the marmelade hoverfly. I was a bit to lazy with giving the name here. Excuses for that. It is indeed probably the trivittatus, especially when you say so :)
