  1. This is not Exochomus flavipes. They have no hairs on the elytra and no orange att the 'tail'. I guess we are seeing the 'tail' of Cryptolaemus montrouzieri here. In english: mealybug ladybird or mealybug destroyer. But I'm not so familiar with the Australian ladybirds and the species similar to C. montrouzieri. So it's possible that this is a similar species, not C. montrouzieri. Posted one year ago, modified one year ago
