  1. Hi Ferdy,
    Are there two different plants close together, each with a flower?

    This one seems to me to be Ophidion sp. aff. pleurothallopsis [aka Phloeophila sp. aff. pleurothallopsis].

    Karremans and Viera (2020) recognise Ophidion as distinct from Phloeophila.

    1. hi Gary. Thanks, I believe you're right as this one is from the same session:

      Phloeophila pleurothallopsis, Los Cedros, Reserve. Looks like a species in the Zootrophion genus, but isn't one. Has Pleurothallis in its name but is not in that genus either. Ecuador,Ecuador 2021,Fall,Geotagged,Los Cedros Reserve,Phloeophila pleurothallopsis,South America,World

    2. And I think the one on the right is Zootrophion dayanum, or at least Zootrophion sp. It was identified as such by local Los Cedros staff. Posted 3 years ago
