  1. Sugianto, do you think this could be Jamides celeno ruvana instead of J. alecto horsfieldi? Or some other similar species? I am having a hard time confirming the ID because they all look so similar. Posted 3 years ago
    1. First, I put a title as Jamides celeno ssp ruvana but later on has been corrected by Mr. TTP, a butterfly experts from Singapore that this a Jamides alecto horsfieldi. I'm not really interested in the difference that's why I didn't ask but I just corrected it right away. Posted 3 years ago

"Jamides alecto", the metallic cerulean, is a small butterfly found in the Indomalayan realm but which crosses the Wallace line into the Australasian realm. It belongs to the lycaenids or blues family.
