The olive-crowned yellowthroat is a species of bird in the Parulidae family. It is found in Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Panama. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist shrubland and heavily degraded former forest.
