  1. Neat! I have heard of acorns oozing liquid as a result of a bacterial infection. I think it's called 'drippy acorn'. I have never seen it myself, but this could be a case of it. Posted 3 years ago
    1. That's very surprising to me, I've seen this "dripping" a few times and always thought it was a good thing, like the "juice" of the acorn or something like that ^_^ I'm always learning new interesting stuff here on this great community :-D Posted 3 years ago
      1. I read that it's been a problem in Spain and has caused the decline in some oak species there. I'll create a species record for this as Lonsdalea quercina.

        I love learning new things, as well. :)
