It's spring, yet it's 25 F (-4 C) and snowing hard. This is a maple tree in my yard blooming against the contrast of the snow. Sorry for the blur, but it was hard to focus through the snow.

"Acer rubrum", is one of the most common and widespread deciduous trees of eastern North America. The red maple ranges from the Lake of the Woods on the border between Ontario and Minnesota, east to Newfoundland, south to near Miami, Florida, and southwest to east Texas.
