Creeping Mentha pulegium Commonly known as pennyroyal, native to Europe and North Africa. In nature, these plants are found in marshy soils, ditches and around the edges of ponds as it is a moisture-loving plant. <br />

Crushed pennyroyal leaves release a very strong fragrance similar to spearmint. It grows by spreading by adventitious roots. During summer, these pretty little lilac-blue flowers appear on stout stems, which attract bees and other pollinators.<br />
