This lizard measures about 3-4cm from the head to the beginning of the tail. Its underside is entirely red.

  What is really weird is that in this part of the world, salamanders don't seem be a thing. There's a handful of species in the Bolitoglossa species, and that's it. Strange, right? Posted 3 years ago

The Common Root Teju

"Loxopholis parietalis", the common root lizard, is a species of lizard in the family Gymnophthalmidae. It is found in Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, and Peru.
