"Roscoea cautleyoides" is a perennial herbaceous plant occurring in the Sichuan and Yunnan provinces of China. Most members of the ginger family, to which it belongs, are tropical, but "R. cautleyoides", like other species of "Roscoea", grows in much colder mountainous regions.
