
The maroon langur, maroon leaf monkey, or red leaf monkey is a species of primate in the Cercopithecidae family. It is found on the southeast Asian island of Borneo and the nearby smaller Karimata.

This mother and baby make such a sweet scene! Red Leaf Monkeys (Presbytis rubicunda) live in Borneo and are forest-dwelling herbivores.
They are called 'leaf' monkeys because leaves make up the bulk of their diets. But, digesting large amounts of fibrous food isn't easy.
