
Lake Manyara edge of lake
At the edge of Lake Manyara, situated behind the tall green grass, several species gather. This photos shows Wildebeests, Egrets, Great Cormorants and a few other birds. This photo is taken from the forest of Lake Manyara NP, the area photographed as well as the lake itself is not publicly accessible.

The Great Cormorant, known as the Great Black Cormorant across the Northern Hemisphere, the Black Cormorant in Australia and the Black Shag further south in New Zealand, is a widespread member of the cormorant family of seabirds. It breeds in much of the Old World and the Atlantic coast of North America.
