    1. They definitely are challenging. Almost all observations are identified by our guide, in the field. I'd say in 80% of cases by their song, as that is how we find them in the first place, the other 20% based on binoculars, knowledge/experience. Posted 3 years ago

The striped woodcreeper is a species of bird in the woodcreeper subfamily. It is found in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical swamps, and subtropical or tropical dry shrubland.
