The Black Banded Bee Fly

"Hemipenthes morio" is a species of 'bee flies' belonging to the family Bombyliidae subfamily Anthracinae. This common 'bee-fly' is mainly present in most of Europe, the eastern Palearctic realm, the Near East, and the Nearctic realm.
