Dalmatian Pelicans at sunset
I took this image of Dalmatian Pelicans during a bird photography trip that i guided in Northern Greece. We spent three days at lake Kerkini to enjoy these amazing birds. Other then them, we also saw Bewick Swans, Greater Spotted Eagle, Sombre Tit, Common Cranes, many Little Owls, Wallcreeper, Rock Nuthatch and Blue Rock Thrush. It was an amazing trip.

The Dalmatian Pelican is a member of the pelican family. It breeds from southeastern Europe to India and China in swamps and shallow lakes. The nest is a crude heap of vegetation.
