Lake Manyara landscape

This is a landscape overview of Lake Manyara, a small national park in Tanzania, as taken from our lodge. This is a small park, two thirds consists of the lake which is not publicly accessible, the remaining one third is the forest, which can be cruised by vehicle. Lake Manyara is famous for its tree-climbing lions, although unfortunately we did not see them. The forest is always lush and green, even during the dry season as seen here.
