    1. This was at the Brinton Desert Botanical Garden located in the Park of the Canals in Mesa, Arizona. It is free and open to the public. This park contains ancient Ho Ho Kam Indian irrigation ditches from 700BC, very few of which remain anywhere in the Southwest. Also within park boundaries is Brinton Desert Botanical Garden, which boasts approximately 150 species of cacti and other desert plants. Posted 3 years ago

"Yucca baccata" is a common species of yucca native to the deserts of the southwestern United States and northwestern Mexico, from southeastern California north to Utah, east to western Texas and south to Sonora and Chihuahua. It is also reported in the wild in Colombia.
