♂ Sub-adult Empusa pennata

Back to France with my favorite insect around my place, the conehead mantis. Here is a sub-adult male, when they reach this stage male are becoming incredibly colorful allowing them to hide in the flowering thyme found at the same time which as exactly the same gradient of colors.
